1. Exterior Design: Wider, More Confident Stance

The 2026 CX-5 introduces the next generation of Mazda’s Kodo design philosophy and “Wearable Gear” concept. Expect sharper body lines, a more pronounced front fascia, slimmer LED lighting, and bold “MAZDA” lettering across the rear liftgate for a clean, modern look.

2. Increased Vehicle Size

Mazda confirms the 2026 CX-5 is approximately 4.5 inches longer and more than half an inch wider than the previous generation, improving rear-seat comfort, cargo capacity, and on-road stability.

3. Interior Comfort and Materials

Rear passengers benefit from increased legroom and headroom, making daily commuting and weekend coastal drives more comfortable. The cabin features upgraded soft-touch materials, refined trim finishes, ambient lighting on select models, and an available panoramic moonroof.
